The Pioneer Institute is hosting a pretty interesting competition that we, as fans of government transparancy AND technology, are big fans of. We thought we’d throw it out to all you creative minds.
Get on it!
THE SUBMISSION DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO JULY 15, 2010, AND THE COMPETITION IS NOW OPEN TO ALL MA COMMUNITIES!
In May of this year, Pioneer Institute contacted you to inform you about “Apps for Transparency”, a competition to hear citizen’s ideas about how transparency and accountability issues in government could be solved through technology. We want you to know that we have decided to extend the deadline for submissions to July 15th, 2010!

ONEin3ers, since many of you only found out about the Council applications because you got an email today – the last day before the deadline – we’ve decided to offer and extension til July 15th.
Here’s some info on the Council:
The Mayor’s Advisory Council was created to find out about, research and recommend solutions to the problems facing Boston’s ONEin3 population. Through the Advisory Council, ONEin3 and Mayor Menino work to improve quality-of-life for 20-34 year olds living in the City of Boston.
In addition to working with senior members of Mayor Menino’s administration, you get the chance to meet and work with the best group of young people in the entire city in your fellow Council members.
So, if you’d like to improve Jobs and Careers, Civic Engagement, Social and Cultural Life, Housing, and Young Families (and anything else you can think of) for your fellow young people, APPLY HERE.
ONEin3ers, the deadline approaches, so get your application in asap!

OK, ONEin3ers, at long last it is time to open up applications for the 2010-2011 ONEin3 Boston Mayor’s Advisory Council.

The Council works with senior members of Mayor Menino’s administration to identify and create policy and programming that will improve life in Boston for all of us.
Of course, I’m a biased source, but I think the Council is a one of a kind opportunity to shape our city and I’ll tell you why:
Most important?
The other people on the Council are simply amazing and you get to work with them.
