ONEin3 Gets Around East Boston AND Block Party This Week!

ONEin3 is busy this week. We feel like the most active socialites in Boston right now because we have plans both tonight AND tomorrow. We just feel really cool.

TONIGHT, ONEin3 Gets Around East Boston. We have a couple tickets left and we hope you’ll join us. The rain is going to let up this afternoon and should be no problem whatsoever. You really don’t want to miss Scup’s in the Harbour, 303 Cafe, Harbor Arts, Piers Park and other awesomeness. Come along and explore another of Boston’s great neighborhoods!

TOMORROW (Thursday), ONEin3 is taking over Downtown Crossing for a Block Party. Read more here, but suffice it to say, there will be beer, wine, free food and music. How can you miss? Just another chance to see Downtown Crossing in a brand new way!

Free Concerts Downtown? Yes Please

The Phoenix and Downtown Crossing are hosting some free concerts this week right in front of the Downtown Crossing T stop, which is awesome for two reasons:

1. It’s beautiful out and what better activity is there after work than listening to music outside with a drink in your hand? Hint: there is none.

AND

2. You get to see local bands in their element in the heart of the city FOR FREE!

This is all part of Best Music Week and we think it’s the bomb.

Tonight, starting at 5 come see John Shade, Kingsley Flood and Magic Magic.

Tomorrow, come see Mystery Roar, Bearstronaut and Mean Creek.

We’re sad to say that we missed yesterday’s show because our good friend and regular commenter Lindsay’s band Thick Shakes played. Oh well, we’ll have to find another time to see them.

Art Fridays Starts Tomorrow!

We love arts and culture and we love Downtown Crossing. In honor of Fun Thursday, here’s a little something that touches both.

Art Fridays is a weekly juried art show with works available for purchase (and food, people!). It runs in Downtown Crossing on Summer Street across from Macy’s from 11am to 6pm EVERY FRIDAY from May to October.

That sounds like a pretty cool event to check out every week during our favorite weather months of the year. The best part? The artists are different every Friday, so you can go back and see new paintings, handcrafted clay, blown glass, stain glass, wood, furniture, photography, wearables, kid’s clothing, metal, handcrafted toys, and silver, metal, gold and beaded jewelry every Friday.
